Overview

Compensation: $16-$20/hour, based on experience

MUST HAVE DISPATCHING EXPERIENCE - dispatching for home service companies (HVAC, Plumbing, Electric) preferred. 

 

We are looking for a self-motivated person with a great attitude to join us to assist in dispatching our technicians at our HVAC, Plumbing and Electrical company.

The dispatcher plays a crucial role in ensuring efficient scheduling and dispatching of service technicians to various job sites. This position requires strong organizational skills, the ability to prioritize tasks effectively, and exceptional communication skills to coordinate with both our team and customers.


We have MULTIPLE positions that we are looking to fill - part-time, full-time, remote AND in office positions!

What will your job look like?

  • Receive incoming service requests via phone, email, or online platforms
  • Schedule and dispatch technicians to service calls, installations, and maintenance appointments
  • Monitor technician schedules and adjust as necessary to accommodate urgent or additional service requests
  • Ensure efficient routing and allocation of resources to minimize travel time and maximize productivity
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for technicians and customers regarding service appointments
  • Communicate job details, expectations, and special considerations to technicians prior to dispatch
  • Provide timely updates to customers regarding technician arrival times and any delays or changes to service appointments
  • Maintain accurate records of service calls, including job details, technician assignments, and service outcomes
  • Communicate with customers after work is completed to ensure 100% customer satisfaction

What do you need? 

  • Familiarity with the Marietta area, and areas surrounding northwest Atlanta
  • Proven experience as a dispatcher, preferably in the home service industry
  • ServiceTitan or FieldEdge experience preferred
  • Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in using dispatch software and familiarity with GPS tracking systems
  • E. Dennis may conduct a preemployment background check and drug test, subject to applicable law
